Today is the day my baby should be born but... I told Emiko that she really needs to wait for the bathroom to be done, anyway the due date is here .. lets see what happens.

2/19/4

So it looks like this when you walk into my apartment... and well...

See what you do is... go into the bedroom and through to the second bed room to get around the first bath tub   then when you come back into the hallway you go into the dining room and cut through to the living room to get around the second tub.  If done properly it should only take 67 seconds to get from bed to the bathroom.    Just need to watch the chop-saw that is in the small bedroom it can break toes like nothin.

Well I'll update in reverse order for now.  SO you'll need to scroll down to see the last couple of days.

Getting closer to having the tub installed.

This would be the shower.

The faucet is installed.

Drywall is installed.  Actually got it pretty well lined up and ready to tape.

Insulation is a good thing.  Hope it will help to keep the noise down as well.

Valentine's Day is so romantic... especially when I take a 20 minute break for my wonderful wife... I know I should be shot.

Ok this is the wiring...

And the newest Bothwell!!!  Lora's baby ;-)

OK Update... been a bit busy

The bath tub is out and the rest of the tile is out  yeah :-D

New lights to go over the bath.

some if the new wiring.  From above come the 2 new circuits, one stops off to send power to the vanity light and the lights over the sink.

Put in some air shocks to cut down on the water turbulence that rattled like a sob.  Only 2 leaks when we put the water back on.

OK not quite ready to take the tub out (all its 500 lbs of glory will just have to wait).    The crappy Home Depot sink came out really easy. Also notice my 1st copper pipe soldering... not bad huh?   Toilet base is really well attached... I'm not exactly sure why, every toilet I've installed was just place and tightened down, this one seems to be adhered to the floor :-(    And the pipes that thank goodness and a bit of luck I didn't hit with the air hammer

I should put up a photo of the finished bedroom, but Emi is sleeping and well I guess I'm ADHD too.   YEAH< pass the drugs... anyway.  I've started on Emi's project.  She has wanted the bathroom done for a while and I figured I'd go for it.  With the baby on the way figured I am forced to get it done now.. no f---in around.

Anyway  Pics below are what we have now.  Yeah, so you can see why Emi is animate about getting it done.

And the beginning...

Well the tile is in and well.... kinda grouted.  Its good enough for now and for under big wardrobes that will never move;-)
I added an additional outlet for hte lights for the wardrobes and I painted the cieling and walls... the walls are pink!!  In a very bright halagon light they are very pink, but in normal light I think it will look great with the new wardrobes.  Thats all for now.

Working on the walls and kinda grumpy.  Kan`t wait to put together those closets!!

Look at this... two posts in one day!!

One for the baby.  I got the play yard set up and Emi decorated it :-D     Cute isn't it?

Drywalled and ready for taping

Drywall

A little mud... but the mud was so old, it was kinda chunky so I couldnt do very much.  I hope I do better with new compound.

The floor, wood is really dark, now I know why there is carpet on it.

At the end of tonight. A lot of cleaning up on the walls needed and install the tile (but I like the preview)-->

Well got some energy... eh well, I was told to get some energy so I am putting in some new wardrobes where the closets used to be ;-).

OLD Closetand the inside .

No Closet.

Just need to clean up the walls, some drywall and something on the floor to clean it up and even it out.  Then I can get the new wardrobes in.
